Have you ever been asked the question,

"WHO ARE YOU"?

Do you answer with adjectives that describe your labels of self-worth?  "I am a Teacher", "I am a Stay-at-Home-Mom", I am a Lawyer", "I am a Minister", etc.

Who are you when you remove the labels?  Detached from your false beliefs about who you are.  Detached from superficial labels that you think make you worthy.  Only then are you left with who you were created to be.

Yes, this world has labeled you from a natural stand point. You have attached yourself to the external ideas and concepts as your value.  So, who you think you are has been dependent on the things you have acquired in this life, but not things that make up your total being; spirit, soul and body.

Do you know who you were created to be?

What is your purpose in life?

Let's walk this out in upcoming blogs.

Fairy Tales!

The world wants you to still believe in fairy tales.

When ever you are faced with problems…you are advised to seek the answer through supernatural means… through mediums, channelers, psychics, etc…but not God.

I can remember The Wiz with Diana Ross and Michael Jackson. Dorothy (Diana) had to seek out a wizard to get answers that were right in front of her. On her journey she encountered others that needed help (advice) before they could move forward in their lives.  They were given direction to a path to follow that would take them to the Emerald City. In this city they would meet The Wiz. He was the one who knew everything about everything.  Once they were inside the city they are bewitched and had to conform to its laws. Sound familiar?  When a color was called out everyone had to transform to that color and change directions.  I am not speaking against laws; We must obey the laws of the land or face consequences.

What I am saying is, there are natural laws and spiritual laws. The choice is yours to obey.  Just like in the natural, if the law is broken we suffer the consequences and the same goes for the spirit realm.  Did you not know that there are spiritual laws?  Even if you did not, they still operate in your life.  I will give you one example…you reap what you sow…   That’s true, the bible tells us in Galatians 6:7,

Be not deceived; God is not mocked:
for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

That applies to all areas in your life. If we only seek out men for answers, what are you saying to God? The one who created and knows all about you, your inter-working, your down falls, and up raising. He knows everything about you.  All your secrets, your deepest desires, every care and every where you hurt.  You're telling Him inspite of all this, a mere man knows more than He does and can advise you better.

WOW!  In other words the created knows more than the CREATOR.

As you seek direction  for life's daily journey,  your answers can be found in the Bible. Instead of picking up a horror...scope...pick up the Word of God.  First thing in the morning, seek His wisdom and you will find it.  Seek Him for the hard answers of life and they will be answered. God will and can work through men, but you need to know when and where to seek them.  In this journey you will encounter others in need of help.

Are you equipped for the job?

I will talk about being transformed in a future blog.

A STEADY STREAM!

As a new school year approach, its exciting and fresh.  Everyone moves with a quickness and all minds a focus on this one event.  Some will go to public, private and even home school.  My household is preparing for public and home school.  As I look at the internet for help there is a steady stream of information, a wealth of knowledge. I reflect back on Matthew 4:1-3, when Jesus was lead into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil and the message bible states it like this:

1-3 Next Jesus was taken into the wild by the Spirit for the Test.
The Devil was ready to give it. Jesus prepared for the Test by fasting
forty days and forty nights. That left him, of course, in a state of extreme
hunger, which the Devil took advantage of in the first test: “Since you are
God’s Son, speak the word that will turn these stones into loaves of bread.”

Jesus answered by quoting Deuteronomy: “It takes more than bread to stay alive.

IT TAKES A STEADY STREAM OF WORDS FROM GODS MOUTH.”

Just like Gods word says it takes a steady stream….  To gain knowledge of anything it takes time and effort.  While we are focus on the natural things in life, this new school year, let not forget that staying alive in Christ takes spending time with Him.

My Hearts Cry!

THERE IS A FRESH WIND BLOWING!

This morning the Holy Spirit reminded me that He is a person. He has feeling and desires a deeper  relationship with me.  I thought I had a very good relationship with Him. I read my bible, I pray, I and I go to church, what more is there to living a good christian life.  He impressed upon me that He desires more quality time and availability.  I realize this morning how selfish I am.  He has given me instruction on daily living, but I have my own plan for daily living and success. This plan gives God the mornings,  only if I have time.  I start out by teaching my grandsons, who live with us now and they require a lot of time. Then I am occupied with business...making money.  I have worked this plan over and over again, without success.  I have been very creative with my plans, and even made little tweets here and there for improvements. It seem to work, for awhile, then back to square one.

I cry out unto my God for help.  He answers, but do I listen.  I stop for a while to give heed to His instructions, but for some reason I must think I can do it better. Now, Psalm 119:13 tell me, " For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb." God created and fashioned me, He knows all of my inter workings. Who would know better then I, what I need....maybe GOD!
The Holy Spirit reminded me this morning that He is my helper and that I needed Him.
My heart cry today is Lord, help me to desire the things you want me to desire. I rededicated my life to you today and place it into your hands to mold and shape me.  Use me for your glory.
